A PLACE WHERE ART BECOMES A CONVERSATION

This gallery is a space for what has been created and what is still emerging — for art that breathes, transforms, and seeks dialogue with the viewer.
Guided by intuition, experience, and careful selection, it is a place where personal creation meets collaboration with other artists, opening the door to new ideas and unexpected discoveries.

Discover the dialogue between artists and viewers

This exhibition invites visitors into an intimate space for dialogue between art and the viewer. Each artwork finds its own voice, creating a calm and personal atmosphere that encourages reflection and connection.

Meeting in Art brings together talented Latvian artists to share their creative stories and perspectives. It is a celebration of authenticity, emotion, and the beauty of artistic diversity.

We invite you to experience this collection — to pause, feel, and discover the quiet conversations that unfold between the artworks and those who encounter them.

Join us from November 11–20 at Krüselblick 4, 48341 Altenberge.

About Iveta Trence

I am an artist, curator, and art adviser. My life has always been intertwined with art — since childhood, without interruption and without compromise. Art has never been a choice for me; it has always been my natural environment and way of being.

As an artist, I work with recycled paper, creating tactile, relief-based surfaces where material, light, and quiet presence become the primary means of expression. This practice has always been a constant — a natural, uninterrupted form of thinking and creating.

As an art adviser, I travel internationally, exploring a carefully curated world of art — visiting studios, workshops, galleries, and art fairs. I am not interested in breadth, but in precision: searching for pearls in contemporary art, works with presence, material integrity, and lasting value.

This dual perspective — being both an artist and an art adviser — allows me to see art spatially and in life: understanding how works inhabit interiors, breathe in collections, and form an emotional connection with people.

For me, the gallery is a living space — a place for conversation, encounters, and storytelling. It is not driven by trends, but by meaningful relationships with art.

Collector’s Note

I am not a traditional curator or art adviser — I have my own perspective and signature, shaped by experience and intuition. That’s why I call myself a pearl hunter.

I don’t seek the whole world of art, but its carefully selected pearls — works with presence, material integrity, and lasting value.

I truly enjoy the process: searching, discovering, and claiming my finds — pieces that resonate in interiors and collections, creating a subtle and meaningful dialogue between art and life.
