Practice:
Painting. I create still lifes, landscapes, flowers, and moods in oil and acrylic. I aim to convey stillness, calm, and harmony in my works. The paintings are produced both in my studio and during plein-air sessions in Latvia and abroad.
I also work in interior design and stone design.
Creative Activity:
• Group exhibitions: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2023, 2024
• Solo exhibitions: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2023, 2024
• From 2017 to 2022, I participated annually in the “Jāzeps Pīgoznis Landscape Painting Prize” exhibition.
Group Plein-Air Painting in Latvia:
Valmiera, Salaspils, Nīgrande, Madona, Sigulda, Preiļi, Bauska, Rēzekne, and others.
When I travel for holidays to Mediterranean countries, I always bring my paints to capture the extraordinary light so characteristic of the southern lands. These include Greece and its islands (Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Santorini, Corfu), Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Spain and its islands, Montenegro, and others.
