Gints Strēlis

Gints Strēlis is a Latvian jewelry artist who began his creative journey while studying at the Tallinn Art Institute. His works combine influences from ancient cultures with contemporary design, working primarily with silver, 18-karat gold, and natural materials such as pebbles found on the Kurzeme seashore. The artist also incorporates gemstones, semi-precious stones, and organic elements like mother-of-pearl, ebony, and ostrich eggshells.
One of his signature techniques is silver etching, which allows him to create reliefs and symbols reminiscent of ancient petroglyph motifs. Gints Strēlis’ works have been exhibited in Latvia, the United States, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and elsewhere, in both group and solo exhibitions.
The artist places special value on creating jewelry for a specific individual—carefully understanding each client’s wishes and taste, he crafts unique, entirely handmade pieces, each one of a kind.
