Recently, Latvijas Radio created a piece about my joint exhibition “Between Two Suns”, held at the Institute of Design for Quality of Life “Viskaļi” in Čiekurkalns.
The exhibition is a dialogue between my work with recycled paper and textures, and the vibrant textile collages of Ethiopian artist Kirubel Melke. Although we come from very different cultures, our meeting at the Karosta Festival in Liepāja revealed many shared ideas — especially in how we both explore the use of recycled materials.
